This Race Day LLR "Single Plane" - Cathedral Port camshaft is designed for Drag Racing applications in cars using 5.7-6.2 liter LS engines equipped with cathedral port, LS1 style heads and single plane intake manifolds like the Victor, High Ram, Mid Ram and GMPP style intake manifolds.
Designed with the budget racer in mind, this camshaft is ideal for the enthusiast who is looking to get great results while maintaining a modest RPM range. This camshaft is intended to be used with high compression and the proper racing fuel for best results. The base version of this camshaft is designed to work with stock rocker arms and quality performance solid lifters. This camshaft will have a rough, racecar idle. This camshaft requires pistons with valve reliefs for proper piston-to-valve clearance. This camshaft requires intake and exhaust modifications for maximum flow. Headers, open or racing exhaust, racing intake systems, properly suited racing torque converter and optimal rear axle ratios to achieve maximum performance.
